Mental Health Coaching and Emotional Wellness Support
Welcome to my blog!
I'm Livia, a Certified Life Coach (ICF) with over twenty years of experience in behavior therapy; I witnessed the incredible resilience people can display when provided with the right tools and support.
Through my ongoing training and hands-on experience, I combine life-coaching techniques with counselling principles to help clients create meaningful change and improve emotional well-being because I believe in the power of healing and growth. I understand how impactful it can be to have someone who truly listens and believe in you. I believe that we all have the ability to reshape our lives, heal from painful experiences and move toward a healthier, more fulfilling way of living. Our minds and nervous systems are deeply influenced by our experiences, but with the right support, self-awareness and practical tools, growth and healing are possible.
Through this blog, I share supportive information, emotional wellness strategies, mental health insights, practical life skills tools and reflections to support personal growth, emotional regulation and everyday wellbeing.
My work in mental health coaching is rooted in helping people strengthen their emotional wellbeing, physical wellness, mindset and connection to themselves so they can move beyond survival mode and begin truly living.
I believe many people become stuck in anxiety, stress, burnout, panic, overwhelming emotions or painful past experiences that disconnect them from joy, confidence and peace. My goal is to help individuals reconnect with themselves in a compassionate, practical and meaningful way.
Empathy is one of my greatest strengths. For many years, I naturally prioritized the needs of others, often at the expense of my own wellbeing. Through my own personal growth, I learned the importance of balancing compassion for others with compassion for myself. Today, I use that empathy as a strength to deeply understand, connect with and support the people I work with.
Connection, understanding human behavior and helping others build meaningful change have always come naturally to me. Behavior analysis, emotional regulation and practical life skills coaching are some of my strongest areas; allowing me to help individuals create structure, confidence, emotional awareness and healthier patterns in everyday life.
Throughout my career, I have supported children, youth, adults and families through behavioral support, emotional wellness coaching and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Seeing people grow, gain confidence and improve their quality of life has been one of the most meaningful parts of my journey.
I am deeply curious and passionate about learning. I value meaningful conversations, personal growth and understanding people on a deeper level — not just at the surface. I believe healing and growth are not about becoming someone else, but about reconnecting with who you truly are underneath the stress, fear, expectations and pressure.
Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, listening to music, being in nature with my dog and appreciating a slower, simpler lifestyle. I believe there is beauty in simplicity — because simple is often the most meaningful.
I also believe modern life can feel especially overwhelming for sensitive, caring and high-achieving individuals. By learning to prioritize our wellbeing, boundaries and self-care, we create space to grow, heal and move toward the life we truly want.
